Adjustable Hip Positioning and Abduction Support

The Restorative Medical RestAir Hip Orthosis is designed to help manage severe hip adduction, hip scissoring and abnormal muscle tone. 

Combining innovative air bladder technology with a flexible orthotic design, it provides adjustable positioning support while prioritising patient comfort.

The orthosis uses four inflatable air bladders, two on each side, to redistribute pressure across the skin and allow gradual adjustments to hip positioning and range of motion. 

This controlled approach is particularly beneficial for patients who experience spasticity, increased muscle tone or difficulty maintaining appropriate hip alignment.

Unlike rigid positioning devices, the RestAir incorporates Flex Technology, allowing the orthosis to accommodate changes in muscle tone and involuntary movement while maintaining supportive positioning.

The RestAir Hip Orthosis is primarily intended for the management of:

• Severe hip adduction
• Hip scissoring

• Restricted hip abduction and associated positioning difficulties

The orthosis may be considered for patients experiencing hip positioning difficulties associated with:
