We are committed to providing customers with service of the highest possible level of quality. In order to achieve this, we are continually improving processes, products and services. The implementation of the quality policy is the responsibility of all staff members, with overall responsibility residing with the Board of Director. It is required that all staff recognise and accept our philosophy of quality service delivery, accepting accountability for their own output.

This standard represents the requirements for a comprehensive quality management system for the design and manufacture of medical devices. It ensures the consistent design, development, production, installation, and delivery of medical devices that are safe for their intended purpose.

ISO 13485:2016 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management systems. Used by medical device manufacturers and providers worldwide, it is the medical industry's 'gold' medical device standard. It ensures that regulatory compliance laws and customer needs are met and is a valuable credential put in place to keep professionals and customers safe in clinics, hospitals, and other medical environments.

The Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 imposes a statutory duty on employers to ensure in so far as reasonably practicable, the health and safety of their employees whilst at work. This duty also extends to others who may be affected by that work. Employees also have a statutory duty to take care of themselves and their work colleagues who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

In early 2021, the MHRA carried out their surveillance site inspection and found Algeos to be fully compliant with the requirements of the Wholesale Distribution guidelines. This recognises our good distribution practices and enables Algeos to continue the supply of licensed Pharmaceutical products.
