Foot Pressure Analysis

Foot pressure analysis (FPA) uses a surface containing many sensors to measure vertical pressure of the feet. FPA allows you to identify areas or characteristics of the feet which may be causing pressure or damage to the musculoskeletal system.

FPA can be used to visualize pressure points of the feet to provide topographical data from impressions of the feet. With this data, you are able to decide on a treatment solution, like orthotic insoles, to help alleviate stress and correct abnormalities.

Foot pressure analysis can be useful for those who suffer from diabetes. Diabetes sufferers are susceptible to neuropathy, which can can cause pressure ulcers and can be dangerous if left untreated. By the use of foot pressure analysis, you are able to identify areas of a patient's feet that are most at risk and put measures into place to prevent injury.
