Product Description
Rydel-Seiffer Tuning Fork 64/C 128Hz Features:
The Rydel-Seiffer Tuning Fork is used as a diagnostic tool to detect impaired vibration sensitivity (pallesthesia). Vibratory sensation is often diminished in peripheral neuropathy and spinal cord disease.
The device assesses the perception to vibration in the feet of diabetic patients, and changes to their condition can be monitored in time.
Research has shown that when a patient is unable to sense a vibration threshold of 4 or less on the Rydel Seiffer scale, they can be considered to have diabetic neuropathy.
