Koolpak Hot & Cold Gel Head Cap for Migraine and Headache Relief

The Koolpak Hot & Cold Gel Cap combines flexible gel with broad wraparound coverage to transfer cooling or gentle warmth across the head.

Cold therapy provides a cooling sensation around the forehead, temples and surrounding areas and may help soothe discomfort during headaches, migraines and episodes of sinus pressure.

Warm therapy provides gentle heat that can help encourage relaxation and may be preferred where head discomfort is associated with feelings of muscular tension.

The gel remains flexible, allowing it to conform closely to the shape of the head while the stretchable fabric helps maintain contact with the treatment area.

Unlike a conventional rectangular hot or cold pack that treats only one area at a time, the Koolpak Gel Cap wraps around the entire head.

The flexible gel provides contact across the forehead, temples, sides and back of the head, while the cap can also be positioned over the eyes.

This broad coverage makes it particularly convenient when discomfort is experienced across several areas of the head rather than at one isolated point.

Individual preference varies. The temperature should always feel comfortable and soothing rather than excessively hot or cold.

1. Place the gel cap flat in the freezer for at least two hours before use.
2. Remove from the freezer and check the temperature before applying it to the skin.
3. If the cap feels excessively cold, allow it to warm slightly before application.
4. Gently pull the cap over the head and position it so that the gel surrounds the forehead, temples and back of the head.
5. The cap may be positioned over the eyes where reduced light exposure is preferred.
6. Use for up to approximately 30 minutes, or according to the instructions supplied with the product.
7. Remove immediately if the temperature becomes uncomfortable or the skin becomes numb, painful or irritated.

The soft, stretchable construction is designed to fit most head sizes and should feel comfortably secure without causing excessive pressure.

The gel should remain evenly distributed around the treatment area. If the cap feels too tight, causes numbness or creates uncomfortable pressure, discontinue use.

When covering the eyes, ensure the temperature remains comfortable because the skin around the eye area can be particularly sensitive to extremes of heat and cold.

• Wipe the surface clean as required and allow it to dry completely before storage.

• People with reduced skin sensation, neuropathy, impaired circulation or conditions affecting temperature perception should seek professional advice before using hot or cold therapy.
• Children or people unable to reliably assess temperature should only use the product with appropriate adult supervision.
• Persistent, recurrent, unusually severe or unexplained headaches should be assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.
• Seek urgent medical attention for a sudden severe headache or a headache associated with neurological symptoms, significant injury or other concerning symptoms.
