Product Description

DARCO Partial Foot Orthosis for Post Amputation

The DARCO Body Armor PFA Walker is a lightweight, protective partial foot orthosis designed to support post-surgical healing and mobilisation following partial foot amputation.

It is intended as an interim orthotic solution to stabilise and offload the residual limb while enabling safe, controlled ambulation, as defined under the UK Medical Devices Regulations.

The walker features a rigid outer shell combined with a soft pneumatic air-pump liner, allowing even pressure distribution and improved comfort during wear. A wide opening supports ease of application and accommodates post-operative swelling, supporting patient compliance in clinical and community settings

Its PowerPod EVA outsole delivers high traction, shock absorption, and slip resistance, while being approximately 25% lighter than previous models, helping to reduce fatigue during mobilisation. The outsole design promotes a more natural posture and ergonomic movement, supporting functional recovery during rehabilitation

A ventilated honeycomb construction encourages airflow and comfort, supporting longer daily wear where clinically indicated. The walker is suitable for bilateral use and is commonly used in hospital, orthopaedic, diabetic foot, and rehabilitation pathways.
