Clinell Universal Changes

From 1st December 2025, Clinell Universal will now be dual registered as both a class IIa medical device (MDR) and a PT2 biocide Biocidal Product Regulations (BPR). Achieving dual registration demonstrates our commitment to meeting the highest standards of safety, efficacy and compliance, allowing one product to be confidently used on all hard surfaces, non-invasive medical devices and shared patient equipment.

In line with evolving product regulations, we have taken the opportunity to further improve our formulation by removing PHMB.
