Renia Primer for PUR - Primes Poron and PU

Renia Green label primer is for use on Polyurethane surfaces.

Primer Application

Shoe materials made of PUR-foam are prone to rapid aging due to microbes and water exposure. Multi-purpose cements only bond to the surface of PUR materials. Under heavy loads or stress, the spongy material may break.

To reinforce the PUR soles, use either the vinyl-cement Renia Syntic or Renia Primer for PUR. The advantage of Renia Primer for PUR is its very short open time, allowing for instant application of any Renia CR–based adhesive.

Pretreatment

Wet shoes should be dried by pressing the sanded shoe bottom with absorbent paper for a few seconds. Repeat until the paper stays dry.

A few seconds.

Refer to the Technical Data Sheet of the corresponding adhesive.

Properties

• Renia - Primer for PUR is sensitive to moisture and dirt.
• Use only a clean and dry brush.
• The decomposed active substance appears as a white precipitate on the bottom.
• Avoid working directly from the bottle to prevent contamination with PUR dust  use from a separate container instead.

Shelf-Life

Six months. Store in a cool and dry place.

Thinner

Not usable.

Cleaning

Let the brush dry and remove remnants. Residue cannot be used anymore.
