Podotech Gel Insole 3/4 length

The Podotech Gel Insole uses multi-density silicone gel to provide cushioning beneath the foot while the shaped 3/4-length profile supports the heel and longitudinal arch.

During walking and standing, the gel helps absorb some of the impact generated as the foot contacts the ground. Softer cushioning zones help distribute pressure around higher-load areas, while the supportive shape helps maintain a stable and comfortable position within the shoe.

Because the insole finishes before the toes, it provides heel and mid-foot cushioning without introducing a full-length layer beneath the forefoot and toes.

The combination of heel cushioning and longitudinal arch support may be useful where additional mechanical comfort is required beneath the heel and mid-foot.

The 3/4-length format can be particularly useful where a full-length replacement insole would make footwear feel too tight around the toes.

Persistent, unexplained or worsening foot pain should be assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional such as a podiatrist, physiotherapist or GP.

1. Select the appropriate size for your footwear.
2. Remove the existing shoe insole or liner where practical and where doing so does not affect footwear fit or function.
3. Place the Podotech Gel Insole inside the shoe with the cushioning surface positioned correctly beneath the foot.
4. Push the insole fully back so that the heel cup sits securely against the rear of the shoe.
5. Check that the insole lies flat and does not fold or bunch inside the footwear.
6. Put the shoe on and check that the foot feels comfortably supported without excessive tightness or pressure.
7. If you are not accustomed to supportive insoles, begin with shorter periods of wear and gradually increase use over several days.
8. Discontinue use if the insole causes persistent discomfort, rubbing, numbness or skin irritation.

Footwear construction and internal dimensions vary between manufacturers. Ensure there is sufficient space inside the shoe for the insole without creating excessive pressure around the foot.

1. Remove the insoles from the footwear before cleaning.
2. Hand wash using mild soap and water.
3. Rinse away any soap residue.
4. Allow to air dry completely before replacing inside footwear.
5. Do not use until fully dry.
6. Inspect periodically for deterioration, splitting, excessive wear or deformation and replace when necessary.

• Stop use if persistent pain, rubbing, blistering, numbness, skin irritation or increased discomfort occurs.
• Do not use an incorrectly fitted insole if it creates additional pressure beneath or around the foot.
• People with diabetes, peripheral neuropathy, reduced sensation, impaired circulation or a history of foot ulceration should seek professional advice regarding suitability and regularly inspect their feet when introducing new insoles or footwear.
• An insole should not be used as a substitute for assessment of persistent or unexplained foot pain.
• Seek advice from a podiatrist or other healthcare professional if symptoms persist, worsen or affect normal walking.
