Product Description

Mobile Working LED Magnifier Lamp Varioledflex

Product overview

The Mobile Working LED Magnifier Lamp Varioledflex is a practical, professional magnifying lamp for clinicians and practitioners who need clear, hands-free visibility when working away from a fixed clinic room. Compact, lightweight and highly adjustable, it is well suited to podiatry, foot care, domiciliary visits, mobile clinics and other close-up clinical or technical tasks.

The lamp combines 2.5x magnification with bright LED illumination to support detailed visual inspection and treatment. A flexible gooseneck arm and ergonomic magnifier grip allow the lens head to be positioned precisely over the working area, helping practitioners maintain a comfortable working posture while keeping both hands free.

The Varioledflex can be mounted to the Mobile Working case or used with a compatible cabinet or table adaptor clamp, making it a useful addition to a mobile clinical workstation.

Key features

·        2.5x magnification with a 6 dioptre lens for detailed close-up work.

·        Approx. 76 mm lens diameter, providing a clear working field for clinical and precision tasks.

·        63 long-life SMD LEDs for bright, efficient illumination.

·        Approx. 6,000 lux ring illumination at a 150 mm working distance.

·        Selectable ring or segment illumination to support different examination and surface-detail requirements.

·        Flexible gooseneck arm for accurate positioning of the magnifier head.

·        Ergonomic magnifier handle for comfortable adjustment during use.

·        Low power consumption, approximately 5 W.

·        Long LED service life of approximately 50,000 hours.

·        Suitable for mounting on the Mobile Working case or on a cabinet/table using a compatible adaptor clamp.

Benefits for mobile clinicians

·        Improved visibility: Bright, even illumination and 2.5x magnification help support careful visual assessment and detailed work.

·        Hands-free working: The stand-mounted design keeps both hands available for treatment, documentation or instrument handling.

·        Flexible positioning: The adjustable gooseneck arm and swivel lens head help practitioners align the magnifier to the working area rather than adjusting posture around the lamp.

·        Mobile working support: Designed to complement portable clinical set-ups, including domiciliary podiatry and mobile treatment environments.

·        Efficient operation: LED technology offers strong light output with low energy use and a long expected service life.

Suitable applications

·        Domiciliary podiatry and foot care appointments.

·        Mobile clinics and outreach services.

·        Clinical examination and close-up visual assessment.

·        Instrument or dressing preparation where additional magnification is required.

·        Detailed task work where bright, directional lighting is beneficial.

Instructions for Use

1.      Attach securely: Fix the lamp to the Mobile Working case or to a stable cabinet/table using the appropriate adaptor clamp. Check that the fixing is secure before switching the lamp on.

2.      Position the arm: Adjust the flexible gooseneck arm so the magnifier head is over the working area. Do not force the arm beyond its natural range of movement. The minimum permissible bending radius for the flexible arm is 65 mm.

3.      Connect to power: Connect the power adaptor to a suitable mains supply. The manufacturer specification lists a primary voltage of 110-230 V and secondary voltage of 24 V.

4.      Switch on: Use the on/off control to activate the light. Allow the LEDs to provide full illumination before beginning detailed work.

5.      Select illumination mode: Use ring illumination for bright, even, shadow-reduced lighting. Use segment illumination when angled light may help highlight surface structures.

6.      Adjust for comfort: Set the magnifier head and working distance to achieve a clear view without leaning excessively. The recommended working distance for the stated illumination level is approximately 150 mm.

7.      Switch off after use: Turn the lamp off when work is complete. Disconnect from the mains before moving, cleaning or storing the unit.

Safety and handling information

·        Do not look directly at the sun or other intense light sources through the lens.

·        Do not stare directly into the LED light source for prolonged periods.

·        Keep the lens away from direct sunlight when not in use, as magnifying lenses can focus sunlight and create a fire risk.

·        Protect the lamp from impact, moisture and excessive heat.

·        Do not use the lamp near containers filled with water or where liquid may enter the electrical components.

·        Route the power cable safely to reduce trip hazards in clinical or patient environments.

·        Only use the lamp with compatible mounting accessories and power supply components.

·        If the product appears damaged, stop using it and arrange inspection or replacement before further use.

Cleaning and care

·        Disconnect the lamp from the mains before cleaning.

·        Wipe the housing and flexible arm with a clean, damp cloth.

·        Clean the lens with a soft, lint-free cloth, such as a spectacles cleaning cloth.

·        For heavier soiling, gently clean the lens with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth.

·        Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol-based solvents or cleaning agents containing softening additives, as these may damage the lens surface.

·        Allow the product to dry fully before reconnecting to power.
