Clinell Universal Wipes provide a single, universal product to disinfect and clean hands, surfaces and equipment. Containing a unique, patented antimicrobial formula they can be used as a disinfectant, detergent and hand wipe - replacing the need for multiple wipes and surface cleaners.

Proven to kill at least 99.999% of germs - Clinell Universal Wipes are one of the most effective antimicrobial products on the market. 

This revolutionary formula contains a mix of different biocides. Each biocide has a different mechanism of action, reducing the risk of germs developing resistance.

Clinell Universal Changes

From 1st December 2025, Clinell Universal will now be dual registered as both a class IIa medical device (MDR) and a PT2 biocide Biocidal Product Regulations (BPR). Achieving dual registration demonstrates our commitment to meeting the highest standards of safety, efficacy and compliance, allowing one product to be confidently used on all hard surfaces, non-invasive medical devices and shared patient equipment.

In line with evolving product regulations, we have taken the opportunity to further improve our formulation by removing PHMB. This ingredient has been a reliable part of Clinell Universal for many years, but this update ensures we maintain the same trusted performance while further enhancing safety. It reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation and to providing products that meet the highest expectations of healthcare professionals and consumers alike.
