Algeos are seeking a proactive, creative, and commercially minded Digital Marketing Executive to support the delivery of digital marketing activity across multiple brands, channels, campaigns, and customer touchpoints.

This is a hands-on role for someone with strong digital marketing experience, a good eye for design, and the ability to turn campaign plans into engaging content, lead generation activity, and measurable results. The role will support business growth through SEO, paid advertising, email marketing, social media marketing, ecommerce activity, content writing, graphic design, reporting, and campaign delivery.

The successful candidate will work closely with the wider marketing team, sales, ecommerce, product, and commercial teams to help deliver consistent, data-led, and brand-aligned marketing activity across the Algeos House of Brands.

 

Job Specific Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and delivery of digital marketing campaigns across Algeos brands, product areas, and customer groups.
  • Create, schedule, and manage content across social media, email, website, ecommerce, and wider digital channels.
  • Support SEO activity, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, metadata, content updates, and performance tracking using tools such as SEMrush and GA4.
  • Write engaging, accurate, and commercially focused content for emails, blogs, landing pages, social posts, product campaigns, and sales materials.
  • Create digital and print assets, including campaign graphics, email banners, website visuals, brochures, flyers, and social media content.
  • Support paid advertising activity across Google Ads, paid social, retargeting, and lead generation campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, including website traffic, SEO visibility, email engagement, social media performance, paid ads, and lead generation.
  • Support ecommerce activity across Magento, including product updates, category content, promotional banners, landing pages, and campaign support.
  • Maintain and update WordPress websites, including blogs, page content, imagery, SEO improvements, and general content management.
  • Use Salesforce to support campaign tracking, customer segmentation, lead management, and marketing reporting.
  • Support email marketing activity, including copywriting, segmentation, design, testing, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Maintain content calendars and support campaign planning to ensure activity is delivered on time and in line with business priorities.
  • Ensure all content and creative work is accurate, brand-aligned, and consistent across all marketing channels.
  • Use data and analytics to identify opportunities to improve campaign, content, ecommerce, and lead generation performance.
  • Work with sales, ecommerce, product, CX, and wider business teams to support joined-up campaign delivery.
  • Maintain accurate marketing data and ensure activity follows GDPR, PECR, and best practice.

Ideal background

You will have at least 3 years’ experience in a digital marketing role, ideally working across multiple brands, product areas, or customer segments. Experience in B2B marketing, ecommerce, healthcare, medical devices, or clinical product marketing would be advantageous, but is not essential.

The successful candidate will be confident working across a broad mix of digital marketing channels, including SEO, email marketing, paid advertising, social media, website content, ecommerce, reporting, lead generation, and content creation.

You will be someone who enjoys getting stuck in, managing multiple priorities, and using both creativity and data to improve marketing performance.

 

Qualifications required

Degree-level education in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline would be advantageous.

Equivalent practical experience in a digital marketing role will also be considered.

Minimum 5 GCSEs Grade A-C or equivalent, including Maths and English.

Relevant digital marketing, SEO, Google, analytics, email marketing, or paid media qualifications would be advantageous.

  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to write engaging, accurate, and commercially focused content.
  • Good understanding of content scheduling, campaign planning, and multi-channel marketing delivery.
  • Confident using data and analytics to review performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Strong attention to detail, with good accuracy across copy, design, data, links, reporting, and campaign setup.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, brands, and deadlines.
  • A good understanding of lead generation, customer journeys, and digital conversion points.
  • Confident using marketing platforms, ecommerce systems, CRM tools, CMS platforms, and reporting dashboards.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across marketing, sales, ecommerce, product, CX, and wider business teams.
  • Comfortable learning new systems, tools, platforms, and processes.
  • Familiar with GDPR and compliant marketing best practice.

 

Knowledge & Experience required

  • 3+ years’ experience in a digital marketing role.
  • Experience working across multiple brands, product areas, or campaign types.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, content optimisation, metadata, and performance tracking.
  • Experience using SEMrush or similar SEO tools.
  • Experience using GA4 or similar analytics platforms to monitor website and campaign performance.
  • Experience creating, scheduling, and reporting on social media content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Experience supporting paid advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, paid social, retargeting, and lead generation campaigns.
  • Experience with email marketing, including building, testing, scheduling, segmentation, reporting, and optimisation.
  • Experience creating content for digital campaigns, emails, websites, landing pages, blogs, and social media.
  • Experience creating campaign assets using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design software.
  • Experience or an eagerness to learn Magento for ecommerce content, product updates, landing pages, banners, promotions, or campaign support.
  • Experience or an eagerness to learn WordPress for website content management, blog uploads, landing pages, and page updates.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for campaign tracking, lead management, customer segmentation, or reporting.
  • Experience with SAP Business One would be preferable, but is not essential.
  • Experience supporting lead generation, lead nurturing, conversion, and customer engagement activity.
  • Strong working knowledge of content planning, campaign calendars, brand consistency, and sales support materials.
