Fresco Sport Moleskin is a soft, semi-elastic adhesive padding designed for foot cushioning and protection. Made from 100% bi-elastic velvet cotton with a hypoallergenic adhesive, it can be cut to shape and applied where additional comfort, pressure relief or friction reduction is required. The flexible sheet format makes it suitable for professional podiatry use and for tailored protection within footwear, under clinical guidance where appropriate.

The material is designed to adapt to the contours of the foot and shoe, helping to cushion vulnerable areas affected by rubbing or localised pressure. Supplied as four 22.5 x 40 cm sheets, it can be trimmed for bespoke padding, offloading and protective applications.

Fresco Sport Moleskin may be used to help cushion and protect the skin from everyday footwear-related pressure and friction. Typical applications include:

·        Padding around corns, callus or bony prominences to reduce local irritation.

Application

How to apply: Cut the sheet to the required shape using clean scissors. Ensure the skin or footwear surface is clean and dry before application. Apply without excessive tension and smooth down the edges to help prevent lifting.

Where to apply: Moleskin may be applied directly to intact skin or to the inside of footwear, depending on the customer need and professional advice. Avoid positioning in a way that creates a raised edge or new pressure point.

Skin safety: Do not apply to open wounds, infected skin, fragile skin or areas with unexplained redness, swelling, heat or discharge. Stop use if irritation, rash, discomfort or skin damage occurs.

Diabetes and reduced sensation: Customers with diabetes, poor circulation, neuropathy or reduced foot sensation should seek professional advice before use and check the skin frequently, as pressure or rubbing may not be felt.

Single-customer use: For hygiene reasons, cut pieces should be for individual use only. Replace if the adhesive loosens, the padding becomes compressed, wet, soiled or uncomfortable.

Footwear fit: Padding adds bulk. Check that footwear still fits safely and does not become tight, especially across the toes or forefoot.

Storage: Store flat in a cool, dry place, away from excessive heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the adhesive backing protected until use.
