What is Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT)?

Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy (EMTT) is a non-invasive, evidence-based physical therapy method designed to treat musculoskeletal conditions, including lower back pain, arthrosis, and tendon and joint inflammation. EMTT utilises high-intensity magnetic field pulses to stimulate cellular responses, enhancing the body’s natural healing processes. By expanding treatment options for musculoskeletal disorders and tendinopathies, EMTT represents a significant advancement in therapy, offering patients a faster recovery without the need for surgery, added risks, or extended downtime.

The Magnetolith®

Magnetolith EMTT® utilises high-energy magnetic fields to promote cellular regeneration and rehabilitation. This treatment triggers an anti-inflammatory response, effectively reducing pain and inflammation in targeted areas, making it ideal for patients experiencing acute pain, flare-ups, neuropathic pain, diffuse pain, and degenerative conditions like osteoarthritis. EMTT® is well-tolerated, even by those with severe pain, such as rheumatic patients.

During the therapy, high-energy magnetic pulses are directed at painful body areas. The field strength ranges from 10 mT (millitesla) and above, enabling therapeutic effects at the cellular level. The energy is transmitted through an applicator, penetrating deep tissue layers without increasing tissue temperature due to the brief pulse duration.
