Algeos Consistent Performer Award - Barry Greenhough

Algeos is built on the passion, experience, teamwork and knowledge of its employees and it is the people across all departments that have contributed to the success of the business over the years. To say thank you,  Algeos  shares a spotlight on the talent we have here by congratulating deserving members of our team with an Algeos award each quarter.

Every   member of our team  plays an integral part in the overall workforce, however, our special recognition awards aim to congratulate those that have gone above and beyond.

Barry Greenhough, our warehouse operative who has been with us since 2007, received a unanimous vote from his fellow colleagues as he was commended with the ‘Consistent Performer’ award to commend his hard-working nature, efficiency and commitment to the role.

Barry Greenhough said,

“I was really happy and proud to be chosen for the award. I love my job at Algeos and really enjoy going to work and being part of the team there. It means so much that my colleagues recognise my hard work!”

In May 2007, Barry secured his role at Algeos with support from Community Integrated Care based in St Helens that is aimed at supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism into paid employment. Barry has now been at Algeos for over 15 years, working in the manufacturing department packaging products and is a valued and respected member of the team.

Neil Smith, Warehouse Operations Manager at Algeos said,

“It is with great pride that I fully endorse Barry as a “Consistent Performer” within Algeos. Barry’s dedication and attention to detail when carrying out his work shows he is an asset to the business, and he is also highly thought of having been here for many years. In the time Barry has been at Algeos he has had a 100% attendance record and has never even been late for work.

These key values and Barry’s affectionate personality made presenting the award to him very gratifying and came with all the best wishes from his colleagues here at Algeos. Keep up the good work, Barry.”

Sharon Eakins, Service Leader at Community Integrated Care’s Vocational Support Services commends Barry’s efforts and says,

“We are all so proud of Barry for achieving this award – he is so hard-working and truly deserves to be recognised. At Community Integrated Care we are passionate about working with organisations in our local communities to enrich the lives of the people we support. At our Vocational Support Services, we look at ways we can do this through helping people achieve aspirations for personal success, including gaining paid or voluntary work.

The feedback that Barry has received from Algeos not only highlights Barry’s incredible achievements in the workplace but also showcases the value that employing someone with learning disabilities and/or autism can bring to an organisation.”

Congratulations Barry - truly well deserved from all the team at Algeos.
