Features of radial and focused shock wave therapy – physical mechanisms, physiological mechanisms pain and shock waves. - Contraindications, taking the handpiece
- Main indications, treatment protocols: Calcifying tendinitis of the shoulder, epicondylitis, plantar fasciitis, calcaneal tendinopathies, other tendon and ligament pathologies, pseudarthrosis, treatment of trigger points
- Review of the scientific literature: treatment of musculoskeletal indications with the use of Swiss DolorClast® (calcaneal tendinopathies, tibial periostitis, pain syndrome of the great trochanter, subacromial pain syndrome of the shoulder, treatment of trigger points, etc.)
- Practical workshop, in the afternoon: treatment of the indications of the musculoskeletal system with the use of the Swiss DolorClast®, discussions, exchanges
- Submission of certificates of participation and training certificates
THE SWISS DOLORCLAST ACADEMY offers training based on scientific evidence.
The protocols used are those present in EMS machines. Indeed, they have scientifically proven their effectiveness.
Each training is preceded and followed by an online questionnaire allowing you to visualize your evolution. A SwissDolorclast Academy® certificate is issued to each user who is also referenced on the Swiss Dolorclast Academy website®.
The practial session is done in the afternoon, meaning all attendees will have a chance to use the systems.
If you do not have the devices, or if you are a current or new user you are all welcome to participate.
