Algeos' Charity of 2024 - Zoe's Place

Algeos’ Charity of the Year for 2024 is Zoe’s Place - we have already held several charity events and have a full calendar ready for the rest of the year. 

Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice is the only baby-specific hospice in the UK. It is an amazing charity providing respite, palliative, and end-of-life care for babies and young children aged between 0 to 5. They offer a range of therapies and activities for children who stay at Zoe's Place for regular, short stay respite care, helping to embrace their childhood. 

Family members and carers can access counselling and complementary therapies to help support them through their child’s illnesses, with bereavement counselling available. 

The hospice in Liverpool has been there for children and their families on the same site within Liverpool for the last 28 years, but now they urgently need £3.5 million to fund for their new, long-term home for their vital and specialist services within West Derby, Liverpool. To be able to do this Zoe’s Place need your help to raise an additional £3.5 million. So many people have helped make a difference to the lives of local children and families raising an amazing £1,243,00!

In the first quarter of the year, Team Algeos hosted a Valentine’s Bake Sale, Bacon Butty Bash, Easter Bake Sale, competitions, and attended the Zoe’s Place Ladies Lunch. Throughout the rest of the year, we have many events and activities planned from charity walks, bake sales, family fun days to and a few.
