The Infant Club Foot Appeal is an appeal for donations to the Infant Club Foot Appeal. Dr Charlotte Hawkins, a specialist in paediatric congenital birth defect based in Harley Street, London, was asked to visit the Island of Zanzibar in October 2010 with a view to tackling their increasing problem of CTEV (congenital talipes equino varus) / Club Foot. -

Medical products specialist Algeos says the company is set for further growth next year after a successful 2016. The business achieved a turnover of £11.2million and profit before tax of £400,000 during the last 12 months. Algeos, which has its head office in Liverpool, is predicting turnover will grow to at least £11.8million during 2017. -

The Business Reset Conference was organised by business mentors Podiatry Hive in conjunction with leading medical products distributor Algeos. According to the 'Gore Street Directory', John Algeo established a leather dealing business at 97 Brownlow Hill, Liverpool in 1881. John was born in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland in about 1847-8 and his wife was from in Liverpool. It is thought that they married about 1876.
