Description
Spectra fibre is one of the world’s strongest and lightest fibres, pound for pound stronger than steel and more durable than polyester. Carbon fibre has become common in the O&P industry and is used in many other industries where strength, stiffness, light weight and outstanding fatigue characteristics are important.
Aralon combines Kevlar and Nylon and provides superior impact and fatigue resistance. Aralon is 40% stronger than fibreglass, while weighing half as much. The strength-to-weight ratio is approximately 2½ times superior to fibreglass and it eliminates itching.
