nora®
EVA range - Luna EVA Inner shoe materials
The nora® luna range is a system of 'high
specification', 'multi density EVA's. Usually used for orthopaedic moulding.
nora® EVA offers excellent wearing powers and moulding properties,
with each manufacturing batch being of a consistently very high quality.

Meticulous attention is devoted to the exclusive use of environmentally
compatible raw and auxiliary materials when developing nora®
products. Appropriate polymers and mineral fillers are used; our colouring
pigments are free of toxic heavy metals. All nora® products
contain no PVC, plasticizers, formaldehyde, CFCs, whale oil and nickel.
nora® Luna products bear the "pollutant test"
SG seal. The latter is exclusively affixed to products fulfilling the
exacting demands imposed by the limit values and pollutant parameters
stated in the list of SG test criteria, e.g. parameters relating to
aromatic amide from colouring agents.
This SG seal confirms that no risks should be feared for health, both
for adults and children, according to the latest technological findings,
thus providing the greatest safety for processors and patients alike.
Thanks to the DIN EN ISO9002 certification (quality management), we
ensure a constant quality in terms of production, sales and marketing.
The compatibility of our nora® Luna products with the skin
has been tested and confirmed by the Fresenius Institute for the skin
colours and in 8 different degrees of hardness. These nora®
products are subject to a constant supervision and bear therefore the
'tested skin compatibility' quality seal.
No allergic reactions were discovered in direct skin contacts in connection
with the other material colours; such reactions should not be expected
either in view of the careful selection of the formulation components.
The Satra certificate confirms the dimensional stability and solidity
of our nora® products.
Our participation in the EC Eco-Audit gives evidence of our successful
implementation of the industrial environmental protection rules.
The closed-cell material structure of our nora® Luna products
allows hygienic cleaning by washing, with or without detergents, even
in the washing machine up to approx. 55°C. All our articles can
be combined by fixing (roughen briefly) with various degrees of hardness.
Of course, all nora® Luna products are heat-mouldable.
