Our EVA range is used across the orthopedic industry for a variety purposes, but is mostly used for footwear and orthotic manufacture. This truly versatile material is lightweight, shock absorbing and very hard wearing.

EVA grinds easily and with some grades it can adhere to itself just by heating (welding). The average heating temperature for EVA is 160 degrees Celsius, but this obviously varies depending on thickness and density.

EVA based insoles retain their shape well; reflect body heat and also boast a useful life span of about one year. Very thin sheets can also be used as the base for cutouts to which metatarsal and valgus pads are added.

The material is an ideal for making postings and wedges (high density).
