Algeos are pleased to announce the relaunch of OrthoticTechncians.com - the online resource for O&P manufacturing community. We are also pleased to announce the appointment of a new web site manger, Ian Adam to look after the day to day running of the website.

Algeos Marketing Manager, Marc Cameron says:  "OrthoticTechnicians.com was launched back in September 2001 to provide a platform for individuals in technical roles to interact and share information. Though the website has still been in operation since then, we felt it was time to re-invent the site to take advantage of new internet technologies and new social media platforms. To help with us keep the new website fresh and newsworthy we took the decision to recruit a dedicated website manager: Ian Adam. We are delighted to have somebody so dedicated to the profession working with us to deliver a website worthy of the industry".

To help relaunch this resource we will see a new event being held at the BAPO Conference 2011 in Harrogate at the International Conference centre, which will be held over the weekend of 4th -6th March 2011.  The Orthotictechnicins.com Show and Tell will be held at 4.30pm on the Friday afternoon and we will be inviting Technicians to give a small presentation by any form.  It could be a stand up presentation or a slide show with commentary maybe it could be a poster or even just an example of a device that they have manufactured.
