Now in its 23rd year, this is one of the UK’s leading events for GPs, commissioning groups, practice managers and any healthcare professional working in primary and community care.

This conference provides the opportunity for students to present their research to other students and practitioners. Last years conference was well attended and delegates enjoyed the contributions made by visitors from other universities and from post-graduate students.

COPA is the event designed for anybody running a medical practice, professional Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, Acupuncturists and others within the complementary healthcare profession.

The event will see almost 200 podiatrists (technicians, clinicians, specialists, team leads and managers) from across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde come together at a single venue to benefit from a day of professional learning and networking. Local private practitioners will also be attending this event.

Following the very successful 2012 Conference and AGM, the Institute has arranged to hold both the 2013 and 2014 events in the same prestigious Southport Theatre and Convention.

For the past 21 years, there have been many changes in the delivery of good diabetic foot care and practice. The annual conferences held by King’s and Guy’s and St. Thomas’ is a testament to the fact that we have always reflected and sought to be a driver of change.
