Nora® Norit
This material has great domensional stability and resilience. It has a very good bending endurance, can be sewn, cut and milled and is wear-resistant and washable. Can be used as a stabilising material for elements in orthpaedic shoes, eg. rigid tongues, ankle supports, peroneal caps and insoles.

Comfort Felt Materials
Therrox Comfort consists of two layers of fibre needled together. The structure at the bottom is vacuumed into a hardened shape, heat moulded around plaster cast, and is adapted by an expert to obtain therapeutically effected support relief. The top layer is shock absorbent, and the surface in contact with the skin and textiles is pleasantly soft and warm.

PORON® Urethanes
More shock absorption in the insole means less shock to feet and joints. And no other insole materials offers more shock absorption than PORON® cellular urethanes.

In side-by-side drop weight tests, PORON materials outperformed vinyl sponge, neoprene sponge, sponge rubber, latex foam and solid viscoelastic. Which is why PORON® materials offer the best cushion against impact.

Astro-Sorb
This material is designed for anti-vibration abd engineering uses and will help to protect the foot from harmful nforces thus relieving pain and preventing more serious problems. Will absorb 99% of impact energy.

Memory V9
A remarkable slow release memory cushion made from Nitryl PVC rubber.

Silicone Sheeting
Elastomer Gel is used in the treatment of pressure and friction induced lesions such as blisters. corns and callouses etc.

MaxaCane Gel
A soft, non-abrasive material which acts like human fatty tissue to cushion bony protusions and pressure sensitive skin.

PPT Polyurethane
PPT is an 'open cell' Polyurethane memory foam. It has a low density and is porous enough to help the skin remain dry, cool and comfortable

The new PPT range has a variety of cotton, stretch nylon and ultralux 'velvet' coverings to make it more versatile for sticking and even sowing.

Standard PPT is abraded on one side for easier adhesion and can be laminated to other orthotic materials.

Ortholite
This polyurethane base foam has a unique open cell structure which enables air to circulate through and around the insole creating a cooler environment inside the shoe.

The millions of tiny air bubbles that create the open cell structure inherent to the Ortholite foam, work to transport moisture away from the foot.

GP Diabet
A special foot bedding material which has the ability to return to 100% of its initial form.

Ideal for diabetics and rheumatic sufferers who would benefit from a slow recovery appliance.

Evazote
Similar to LD24 Plastazote, but more resistant in abrasive applications. This sheeting material is heat mouldable at 140°C - 160°C.

Plastazote
Plastazote foams have a widespread use in Orthotic manufacturing. Its unique cross linked construction and non toxicity have established Plastazote as standard for Orthotic linings. It is readily washable, discourages bacterial growth and has good thermal properties.

A thermoplastic foam, Plastazote is easily heat mouldable (85-140°C) and will adhere to most things.

Podiatric Felt
High quality wool based felt for use in Orthotic Manufacture.

Latex Foam
Latex Foams are open cell, washable and odourless, and are used to add strength to cloth materials.

Sponge Rubbers (EPDM)
A closed cell rubber usually of a soft, low density. Commonly known as EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer).

Orthosorb is particularly suited for orthopaedic shoes. Its lower hardness values ensure enhanced cushioning properties and greater elasticity.
